Marta Fernandes has been working in film distribution and exhibition for over 20 years, first at Atalanta/Medeia and now at Midas Filmes and Midas II Cinemas, being responsible for the communication and marketing strategies of over three hundred film theatrical releases. She’s also member of the programming team and handles the press and social media of the cinema. Midas II Cinemas renovated and reopened Cinema Ideal in Lisbon in 2014, one of Portugal’s oldest cinemas (it originally opened in 1904).  Before working in the film business, she worked as a journalist and was member of the research team of OBERCOM – Communication Observatory, being author and co-author of several European reports.

He joined the ranks of DUPLEX Cinema in 2019 as its supervisor. He left this post in April, but keeps working for the cinema as a freelancer in its communication.

Katarzyna Pryc (Manager, Rialto, Katowice, Poland)

I worked as an actress and manager in independent, alternative  Cogitatur Theatre in Katowice. In 2005 I decided to change professionand I started working in  Rialto, very old, beautiful cinema, built in 1913.  It has been just renovated after 2 years of breake and rebuilding. It has changed the formula from cinema to cinema theatre. It means that Rialto is not only cinema, but also place of concerts, theatre performances, but  also fantastic place of meetings and discussions. I can not imagine more interesting and dynamic work place.
