LUX Audience Award – superseding the former EFA People’s Choice Award and the Lux Prize – is a newly configured European audience award, jointly created and launched in September 2020 by the European Parliament and the European Film Academy, in partnership with the European Commission and Europa Cinemas.

Vote and promote the LUX Audience Award!

Three European films, announced last December at the European Film Awards ceremony, are running for the 2021 LUX Audience Award:

- ANOTHER ROUND by Thomas Vinterberg (Denmark, the Netherlands, Sweden)

- COLLECTIVE by Alexander Nanau (Romania, Luxembourg)

- CORPUS CHRISTI by Jan Komasa (Poland, France) which won Europa Cinemas Label in Venice in 2019!

We invite you to visit the Online Voting Platform before 23 May - available in 24 languages - which is also dedicated to mapping the cinema screenings across Europe. The winner will be the highest average rated film and will be announced in a ceremony at the European Parliament on 9 June 2021.

The three nominated films were subtitled in all the 24 EU languages to be accessible to the widest audience possible. Physical and virtual screenings with Q&As and debates in the frame of the LUX Film Days and the LUX Audience Week are organised by the partners of the project all around Europe.
