This project aims to introduce young children (ages 3-6) in Austria to European cinema through interactive screenings. Participating cinemas in major cities such as Vienna, Linz, Graz, and Innsbruck will offer a variety of European films, focusing on accessible content like animated shorts. The project provides programming, moderator training, and educational materials to create inclusive and engaging cinema experiences for young audiences and their families. The project wants to foster cross-border engagement and support participating cinemas with centralized programming and rights management. This model, designed for Austria, is scalable and could be replicated across the Europa Cinemas network, benefiting other European cinemas in similar contexts.

KPIs include training two moderators per cinema, achieving an average of 40 visitors per screening, and hosting 16 screenings per venue annually. The project will measure success through reports from participating cinemas, tracking both audience attendance and engagement with European films.
