CINNESPINNERS aims to increase the circulation of European films and improve audience engagement. It also seeks to create cross-border opportunities and enhance the cinema experience for various audiences. A key outcome is the training of cinema staff to independently promote film literacy, reducing reliance on external educators. Teachers will have access to curated European films to support their curricula. Additionally, cinema operators will strengthen collaborations with schools and kindergartens, integrating best practices from other cinemas in the network. By equipping educators and cinema staff with relevant skills, the project intends to shift cinema visits from passive viewing to interactive educational experiences, with potential long-term benefits for participating venues and their audiences.
