How It Works ?

The LUX Young Talent Programme will select 27 young professionals, one from each EU Member State, to represent and promote the LUX Audience Award at both national and European levels.

The programme is divided into two phases:

Phase 1: The Strasbourg Experience (6–9 October 2025)
Participants will attend a fully funded training programme in Strasbourg, culminating in the official announcement of the LUX Audience Award nominees at the European Parliament. They’ll receive exclusive mentorship sessions with filmmakers, distributors, producers, and EU institutions, and have the opportunity to connect with emerging cinema professionals from across Europe.

Phase 2: Your Mission as a LUX Talent (October 2025–2026)
After the Strasbourg experience, participants will continue as LUX Talents, engaging in a year-long role where they will promote European cinema and the LUX Audience Award. This includes organizing screenings, discussions, and events in their own country, while collaborating with cinemas, festivals, and cultural institutions engaging local audiences and amplifying the award’s impact.

Who Can Apply?

• Young professionals (up to 35 years old) working in cinema exhibition, programming, marketing, communication, social media, or audience development.

•  Employee at a cinema for 2025 and 2026. To ensure a diversity of activities represented, special attention will be given to applications from cinemas that also engage in distribution, organise or host festivals, or undertake other complementary initiatives.
