Europa Cinemas Audience Development & Innovation Lab – Valladolid

In the frame of its partnership with the 70th edition of the SEMINCI Film Festival, Europa Cinemas is delighted to invite you to the Audience Development & Innovation Lab in Valladolid, taking place from 29 October to 1 November 2025.
Held under the theme “Shaping Tomorrow’s Cinemas – Innovative Tools and Skills to Navigate Change”, the Lab will bring together cinema professionals from across Europe for four days of workshops, expert-led discussions, and collaborative sessions designed to foster innovation and exchange.
Led by Erika Borsos (Austria), Catherine Lemaire (Belgium), and Jens Lanestrand (Sweden), we will explore how cinemas can shape their future in the age of AI, how new tools can help us reach audiences with greater precision, insight and impact, and how we can balance innovation with our commitment to accessibility and sustainability.
Open to all European exhibitors, whether or not they are part of the Europa Cinemas network, the Lab will take place at the Museo Patio Herreriano de Valladolid, with sessions held in both Spanish and English and simultaneous translation provided.

LIVE STREAMING ON YOUTUBE
Follow live the Valladolid Lab! In order to satisfy the great interest in the Lab and allow all the European exhibitors and professionals not present in Valaldolid to follow the main sessions and the case studies, we are proposing a live-stream of the Valladolid lab from Wednesday October 29 to Saturday November 1 on our Youtube channel.
