Last days to apply for accreditation to the Cannes Film Market at a preferential rate!
The 76th Cannes Film Festival is approaching! We are pleased to inform you that Europa Cinemas Exhibitors' Meeting will take place on Sunday 21 May 2023 from 3.00pm to 5.00pm at the Hotel Gray d'Albion (Salon Croisette, 38 Rue des Serbes, 06400 Cannes) followed by a cocktail reception from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.
MDF PARTNERSHIP - Special rate for Film Market Accreditation
As a network member, you can obtain a special rate for your MDF accreditation through Europa Cinemas. This year, the negotiated rate is 290€ (VAT excl.) instead of the regular rate of 459 € (VAT incl.). You can benefit from this special offer, by using a personal access code that you can request by writing to communication@europa-cinemas.org (one promotional code per person). Registrations are open since Wednesday, 1 February, and must be processed directly on the Film Market registration portal before 3 May 2023.
IMPORTANT: This special rate is only available for network exhibitors and members.
Free access to Cinando platform for Europa Cinemas members. In the framework of this partnership, Europa Cinemas members have free access to all services of the Cinando platform. We offer you the opportunity to watch more than 600 recent films online. In order to create your Cinando account, please contact us by email (communication@europacinemas.org). We remind you that the Europa Cinemas Label winning films are available on Cinando.
DIRECTORS’ FORTNIGHT ACCREDITATION
As in previous years, Europa Cinemas network exhibitors can get a priority access badge for Directors’ Fortnight screenings. If you would like to receive this badge, please contact us by email (communication@europa-cinemas.org) before 23 April 2023 and send us your contact details (first name, last name, cinema, city, country, email address and frontal headshot in JPEG format).
Please note that Europa Cinemas will issue only one badge per exhibition company.
EUROPA CINEMAS LABEL - DIRECTORS’ FORTNIGHT
For the 21st year, the Europa Cinemas Label will be awarded to a European film in the Directors' Fortnight selection by a Jury comprised of 4 network exhibitors:
Laurent Callonnec (Cinéma l'Ecran, Saint-Denis, France)
Sofie Mercier (Sphinx Cinema, Ghent, Belgium)
Viviane Thill (Ciné Starlight, Dudelange, Luxembourg)
Justė Vyšniauskaitė (Kauno kino centras 'Romuva', Kaunas, Lithuania)
