www.knallhart-derfilm.deIn "Knallhart", fifteen-year old Michael must prove he’s tough enough when he’s thrown into the urban world of a rough neighbourhood in Berlin, far from the posh suburbs he and his mother are used to.
“Tough Enough is a strong, contemporary coming of age story set in a big European capital. Directed with great panache, Detlev works particularly effectively with his young cast. The film deals with the hugely important theme of multi-cultural life in Europe today with great attention to detail and a sense of humour, but does not moralise. The film has the potential to attract a young audience and to stimulate discussion without patronising them. The Label will help this film reach the wide audience around Europe it deserves”, the jury said.
Though Enough will now receive the support of extended theatrical exposure and additional promotion to the media and the audience.
