Since 2009, Europa Cinemas has encouraged Network theatres to cooperate with each other by contributing to mini-network initiatives, supporting joint initiatives aimed at promoting or organising activities relating to European cinema. This support is intended primarily:

• for theatres that have already joined forces in the form of mini-networks within Europa Cinemas
• for countries that experience difficulties to distributing films.

The approved projects may relate to the circulation of European programmes, the setting-up of group initiatives to organise activities aimed at educating new audiences or even the shared use of new technologies.
