Award for Best Programming:Prize-giving ceremony at Abaton-kino

Matthias Elwardt received the Europa Cinemas award for Best Programming in the Abaton, cinema he founded together with Werner Grassmann and Winfried Fedder (see picture) on Friday 2nd December 2011. The ceremony took place on the occasion of the premiere of ATMEN (BREATHING) in the presence of its filmmaker, Karl Markovics, distributor Andreas Thimm and Fatima Djoumer, Head of International Relations at Europa Cinemas. Markovics' first feature film won the Europa Cinemas Label at 2011 Cannes Film Festival.
