D-Cinema: Welcome to Manice.net

An English version of Manice is now available. Manice was launched in France at the beginning of 2006. The aim of the website is to provide straightforward explanations on digital cinema techniques, practices and economics.

Manice has become a useful tool for French cinema professionals (exhibitors, distributors, etc). The English Manice (www.manice.net) starts in June 2012, with about 50 articles including a glossary of d-cinema terms and an overview of the main issues of the business.
 
 Additional articles will be published regularly. A monthly newsletter listing the titles of the last articles published on Manice.net will be sent to subscribers. Subscription is free: name, profession and e-mail address is the only information required. Besides the newsletter, subscribing to Manice enables you to enjoy full access to the content of the website.
 
 The articles to be published in July and August will explain how digital cinema projectors and servers work and how best to use them. What will come next? You can tell us what topics you want to see covered by answering this questionnaire made in association with Europa Cinemas and UNIC.
