Bologna Seminar 2012

From Saturday 23rd to Wednesday 27th of June, the 8th Young Audiences seminar took place in Bologna. The seminar was organised by Europa Cinemas in cooperation with Cineteca di Bologna as part of the Il Cinema Ritrovato festival. Through workshops led by Ian Christie (Professor of film and vice president of Europa Cinemas) and Madeleine Probst (exhibitor at the Watershed media centre in Bristol), participants had the opportunity to debate on the theme : “Cinemas facing the economic and digital transition.  New realities and opportunities." Since 2005 the seminar has hosted nearly 150 professionals from around 40 countries in Europe, Latin America, Asia and the Mediterranean region.
