Support model for Young Audiences activities

 

20% of support to cinemas members of the Europa Cinemas network is attributed to encourage exhibitors' initiatives towards young audiences (the ceiling of the young audience support is 5.000 €).

Notably, this support takes into consideration specific programming in terms of European films and screenings geared towards young audiences and school pupils, exhibitors' initiatives in terms of animation, publications, mailings, promotion through social media, as well as the participation in joint activities developed at the national or European level.

For the year 2014 Europa Cinemas has received 632 Young Audience reports (corresponding to 1515 screens) coming from 29 countries.

76,5% of the cinemas members of Europa Cinemas develops initiatives addressed to the Young Audience, which equals to 2694 YA initiatives.

Each Young Audience report includes on average 5 different initiatives. 

Each Young Audience screening counts on average 40 admissions.
