Europa Cinemas Label at Karlovy Vary (30 june – 8 july 2017)


Four Network exhibitors are taking part in the Europa Cinemas Label Jury on the occasion of the 52nd Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in Czech Republic. The Jury members will award one film among the 13 European films competing in both the Official and the East of the West selections.

Marijana Bosnjak - Kino Urania, Osijek, Croatia

Always prepared to take on a challenge, implement changes and accept a risk, Marijana Bosnjak dedicates her professional career to consulting and her biggest challenges are companies which are "on the edge". Being a passionate lover of art house cinema, she is also programme creator, project manager, head of strategic and marketing planning at Kino Urania, Osijek, Croatia.

Kevin Coyne - Irish Film Institute, Dublin, Ireland

Kevin Coyne has held the position of Cinema Programmer at the Irish Film Institute since March, 2011. He is part of a programming team that selects and screens some 400 films annually, including new releases, repertory titles, dedicated seasons, and annual festivals devoted to documentary, French cinema, Arabic cinema, Polish cinema, and the horror genre, the last two of which are primarily his responsibility.

Zachary Ioannidis - Cine Paradisos, Korydallos, Greece

Zachary Ioannidis Varvaresso is a photojournalist, documentary film maker based in Athens. He studied Communication and Mass Media in the Kapodestrian University of Athens, followed by a MA in Digital Art forms of Video and Art in the Athens School of Fine Arts. He has worked for news gathering organizations, film and documentary productions and he has been working as a film theatre art director and film critic in the Municipality of Korydallos.

Stein Sørensen - Konsertpaleet, Bergen, Norway

Norwegian mail born 1953. Head of programming and marketing at Bergen Kino, Norway. Active in film societies from 1968 to 1985. Studies in language, political science and film science from Copenhagen and Bergen Universities. BIFF (Bergen Int. Film Festival) Board member since 2000.
